Christ Church Morningside and Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh Wedding Photographer

>September saw the marriage of Georgiana and Ken at a local church in Morningside. It’s the first time I’ve been in the church itself, although I was familiar with it and it’s annex which is often used for childrens parties.
The church was very pretty inside, although a little back to front in how you would expect it to be laid out.

The day went well, and whilst I think the bride and groom seemed a little reserved at first.. I understand that all went out the window later when it was time for the “band-oke” 😉
After the church ceremony, we all made our way to The Royal Botanic Gardens…… the bride and groom made off in a beautiful Beauford (supplied by BBC cars) …. which was a joy to photograph.
Group shots were taken in the church car park, from an elevated position. One of the guests was kind enough to snap me unawares, and Georgiana presented me with a print of the image when she came to collect her wedding photos. I was delighted that someone would take the time and trouble.

All in all, a lovely day….. a lovely couple….. lovely venues…… a pleasure to work with. Wishing Ken and Georgiana all the very best for their future lives together.
Some images from the day………
